What is a towel wrap skirt?
A towel wrap skirt is a skirt cut and sewn from
soft terry cloth — the same fabric as a beach towel — that wraps around your waist and ties at the side. It works as a swimsuit cover-up you don't have to take off: throw it on at the beach, the lake, or the pool and you're dressed for lunch, the boat, or the rest of the day. Ours are hand-sewn one at a time and finished with gingham trim and hand-strung bead ties. See them all in

Can I wear it as a swimsuit cover-up?
That's exactly what it's made for. It's a towel at heart, so it goes on right over a wet suit and soaks up the drips — then keeps you dressed for wherever the day goes next. And it machine washes like any towel. 🌊

Every skirt is cut, sewn, and finished
by hand in the USA by Beth and Emma — the mother-and-daughter team behind Gingham Girl Collective. No factories: each wrap is made one at a time, which is why drops are small and no two pieces are exactly alike. Read

Will my skirt match the size chart exactly?
Because each skirt is
handmade, measurements may vary slightly (approx ± ½"). The
size guide reflects our signature skirt. Every wrap is one of a kind — that's the charm of hand-sewn!

When do new collections drop?
How much is shipping?
Shipping is a flat
$6.95 anywhere in the US — and
free on orders over $100. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your wrap is on its way. Full details on the

How do I wash my wrap skirt?
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry low or hang dry. It's a towel at heart — it only gets softer with every wash. 🌊
